I've been contemplating for weeks if I wanted to start a build journal on here and finally decided why the hell not. I'm loving this truck so I might as well show it off a bit and share my enjoyment of the customization process.
Traded in my loaded 2017 Crew Cab GMC Sierra 1500 for a black 2020 Overland that was somewhat bare but had pretty much all my must have upgrades - tan leather seats with leather trim throughout, premium audio group, LED lights, color match fenders and hard top. The other upgrades I planned to add aftermarket. Like most of the folks on here, I had aftermarket parts ordered before I even took delivery of the vehicle and only drove it stock for a couple days before taking it in for lift and tires.
This is my daily driver and I'm not planning to wheel it like crazy right away. There will definitely be trail riding, hunting club and mountain trips, camping, etc. but don't see much overlanding or rock crawling in my immediate future. Going for a sporty/aggressive look, but still want to keep it kind of classy. As for naming it... that's still in the works.
New posts will be added with each mod/ set of mods as they come. Thanks for your interest; hope you enjoy following along my build.
