I have put 4,500 miles on Armory wheels and 35" Falken Wildpeaks with 3.73 gears. I loved every second of it. Those gears acted great. I upgraded my Gladiator(with equity built because of the crazy market we had 7 months ago). I have now driven 2,000 miles on 4.10 gears. I can tell you I notice the tires less with the 4.10s and am getting a bit better fuel economy since the transmission does go into 8th gear now. HOWEVER, the 3.73 would squawk the tires where the 4.10s won't.I’ve heard that the rust issues were addressed with some sort of change to their coating process, though I don it have any primary source for that.
I’m currently looking at moving my 285/75R18’s from my stock Overland rims to something with a more negative offset to address a little rubbing on the front LCA’s.
I would be curious to hear from anyone with the Black Rhino armory/Abrahms/Arsenal wheels with 3.73 gears. I already know the “feel” with 35’s on the stock rims—I’m curious how the additional rim weight would impact the drive with the same tires.
There ya have it... oh, and no issues with corrosion through 2 different winters either.
