I’ve googled quite a bit and can’t really find anything.

Does anyone make a Bluetooth 12v relay Bank without physical switches? I’d like to just be able to run lights and aux electrical stuff using an app from my smartphone rather than a switch panel straight out of 1992.

"1992" switches are quicker and more convenient than having to pull out a phone, open an app, tap a light, go to the bluetooth settings when the light doesn't work to make sure its paired, re-pair the device, go back to the app and tap the light again.

It's 2023, there are newer, fancier switches available now.

I have the Trigger 6-shooter in my canopy camper and love it. There are 3 options for controlling switches: bluetooth through the app on your phone, a portable toggle switch panel, or via buttons on the unit itself. I've been using it for 2+ years with no regrets.

Lol I’m totally kidding. I agree it’s faster, but as little as I used my accessories in my JK it just takes up a lot of dashboard real estate for no reason. If it was something I needed access to quickly and all the time then 1992 switches would be used for sure. But when I need to turn on my overhead lights once a month or something pulling out the phone and using that to turn them on without having a bunch of switches I hardly ever use seems like a better option. Idk I’m probably wrong, most of the time technology sucks.

nah I’ve just got a boomer soul. I use my lights on dark (public) roads in the middle of nowhere so I can see deer or hogs before they make a mess out of my jeep. I’d hate to fumble with an app to turn them off when I see headlights coming at me. I have a feniex 4200 mini that I planned to use but I haven’t added enough lights for it.

I’ve got a buddy with a stripper Bronco, no options, wants to add lights and such to it. This guy can’t boil water without burning it, definitely not going to solder or run high current wiring correctly. Nor is he going to pay someone what it would cost to do it properly.

For this guy, these bluetooth triggers are perfect. For others, maybe not perfect. Up to the reader to decide

I get your point buuuuuut not to be a boomer again but the only high-current wires in a light kit are all of the wires needed to connect that Bluetooth relay. Technically the switch wire only needs the tiniest bit of current to activate it. And it’s just one more wire among the other 3 or 4 you’re already gonna wire up to the relay.

Yeah fair, there needs to be good current somewhere in the engine bay either way. What I don’t want him doing is going thru the firewall with wire harnesses, reading wire color codes correctly, prying off plastic dash panels without breaking them, crimping or using vampire taps under the dash without cutting or shorting factory wiring, etc. That stuff (second nature to you and me) can be skipped entirely

Will throw in the ARB Linx as a possible match. Been running it for over a year. Has its own little screen that is easy to mount on the pillar. Zero issues with pairing or the like. Essentially has worked like physical switches but can be programmed to do things. Eg I have my KC floods up front come on when I turn on high beams, rock lights when I back up, lights all come on stay on 30 seconds when I turn off the rig etc etc. it also seemlessly integrates with their air lockers, refrigerators, air regulation system, air bags and some other stuff. Oh it also monitors up to three batteries and just hooking it up to power it will monitor one lol. You can pop off the little pad/phone they give you and control it all from camp which I also really like.
