I'm looking at the build and price options on the Jeep website (and the order guides) and I'm somewhat confused. If I were to get a black hardtop, the upcharge over the standard soft top is $1,695. If I were to get a body-colored hardtop, the upcharge is $2,695 - a difference of $1,000. If I were to get the dual top option (with the black hard top) that's a $2,545 upcharge. If I get the dual top option with the body color top, it makes it look like I have to pay the full upcharge of $2,695 on top of the $2,545 for the dual top option. Is there no credit for already having a hardtop included in the dual top option?
On the build and price for the '23 JLU, the body color upgrade drops from $2,695 to $1,600 once you select the dual top option.
