Was just looking at some local dealer stock and noticed this Sport S which has an option called "Body Color Fender and A/T Tire Package" for $250 listed on the window sticker.

I was just on the Jeep.com build site and didn't see this.

This is HUGE for me. I've always been a Sport S guy but really like the body color flares on JL/JT's. Now if they only offered the LED upgrade on Sports I'd be set!

Updated: some photos of a Sport S with body color fenders, posted by @nlicalsi91

I assume the fender colored parts are interchangeable with the black. Maybe they had someone order an Overland or Rubicon then decided to switch to black? It was not an option when I was trying to build my JT.

It's on the window sticker so it's factory and not dealer installed.

I went back and looked at the October order guide and apparently this option is called the Sport S Appearance Package. First Gladiator I've seen with it hitting the lots though! https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/attachments/gladiator-10-16-19-pdf.39287/

Interesting.

I am pretty Jeep stupid, but it seems a bit crazy all of these little changes all of the time.

Methinks these tweaks are because the Rubicons are moving and the Sports, not as much as they planned. just my supposition.

Well, here in NorCal, the Sport S sell quickly, and the a Rubicons are sitting in the lot. The longest a Sport sat was 2 days. The two Rubicons have been there going in three weeks. One special order Rubi came and went in Gator scheme
Cheers

That's pretty cool. Totally the opposite here in KY. Thanks.

2 rubicons in my areas have been sitting on the lot since July. I test drove one on August 2nd and it’s still at Westbury Jeep on Long Island
But here are some pics of a sport S in gator with the color fenders. Looks real sharp with the silver wheels

There is a blue sport with this option (painted fenders and overland bumper) on the same lot that I am buying my Rubicon. If it had max tow, I would have gotten it over the Rubicon. $250 option for the sport, which is a bargain compared to the option on the Rubicon.

So basically you can turn your Sport S into an overland with colored fenders and the 8.4 screen. Not sure why they don't just get rid of the Overland option at this point and let you put leather in the Sport S.

What options have to be ordered with this in order to get it? I built one at my dealership with the base 5.0 radio, alpine, heated seats and mopar leather seats but the color flares wouldn’t go though

You can add leather to the sport S, even the base sport. It’s the Mopar perforated or stitched leather seats from Katzkin. They come straight from the factory but are $1,850

I forgot about that. You can add the running boards too. So the only thing you can't add at this point are the soft touch doors and dash? Oh, and the 18 inch wheels.
