I just measured and from the center of the front hub to the tread is 17". From the ground to the top of the tread is 33.25 due the deflection of the sidewall with the weight of the Gladiator. I hope that this helps.

I also measured the tread at the top from lug to lug and it was like 9.25 across. I would imagine that the " footprint on the ground is wider. I would imagine around 10" or more. I can tell more when I drive across sand or light mud/dirt and measure an actual track. I previously had Fallen Wild Peaks AT3 in 37 x 12.50/17. It is interesting that in comparison they are pretty close. These were on a 9" wheel and I did measure an imprint on the ground. It was just over 11" in wet sand at 34 psi. So probably an inch or less difference. Considering this one has Mojave wheels at 7.5 vs Black Rhino at 9". I am neither an expert or a math mathematician but I am very happy with the these tires. The only real drawback is the do collect rocks, but just a little worse than the Wild Peaks AT3's did at 14/32 of tread. As a side note I do believe the tread on these is soft. I can easily remove the rocks with my fingers as the tread blocks flex. On the Wild Peaks I literally had to pry the rocks out, as the tread blocks did not flex. The Wild Peaks had I believe 18/32 when new. I put 26,000 miles on these and depending on where you measured the tread the had from 13/32 to 14/32 left. I would have purchased them again if it wasn't for the cost difference. I hope that some of this information is of help to someone. The reason for my participation in this forum is to share/receive information with others whom have a passion or love for not only the Gladiator in general but the same for, well.....making it " there's ".

Just an update. I am looking forward to doing the 1.5 in the front and the .75 spacers in the rear. But with the Mojave wheels and the wider differential on the Max Tow it is not a necessity. In 400 miles I have went over many speed bumps both straight and at an angle with no issues. Backed up an 8% grade with my wheels cut and no issues. The closest place to hitting is on the front air dam/skid plate which is easily trimmed. I could see it hitting there under the right circumstances. I have not corrected for the larger tires but I have checked it with radar at work. 60 on speedometer is actually 65. The last mpg with stock tires was 22.1, mpg with these was 20.1. So when calibrated it should be about the same. I liked the comment about a puppy with big feet...like my Great Dane!
