Hello everyone. I know this is my first post but I have gathered a lot if information from other on this forum so I thought I would try and give some back. In early June a Brusier LX3 6.6L motor will be going in to Odin ( @OdinsChronicles ). The motor specs out 550hp and 625 ft/tq. My plan is to document and review the process for anyone who wants to follow along. Odin currently runs a Supercharger on the 3.6L. It has done a good but just doesn't have the power needed to push the weight of a fully loaded over-lander rig and trailer. With 47 gallons of fuel on board, all my gear and the X1N trailer things weigh in at 11,500 pounds. I know that's a lot of weight but with one ton axels and other suspensions mods it is built to handle it. I choose Bruiser because I've been a GM motor fan for a long time. I've been assured they have worked out the bugs and it is a plug and play install. All gauges, cruise control, and tap shift will continue to work as they currently do. Below is what is included with the install kit. I will get into more details I we get closer to the install.
- 6.6L LX3 Engine
- 8HP75 8-Speed Transmission w/Torque Converter
- Bellhousing, Torque Converter and Transfer Case Adapters
- Cast Iron LX3 Manifolds
- Exhaust Y Pipe with Cats
- Bolt In Engine Mounts
- LX3 Engine Harness for JT
- GPEC (Flashed)
- JT Tazer
