I'm trying to narrow down my purchase here and have come across a few points to note, and want some owner insights. Rig currently has the factory Ribucon rock rails that can stay or go, depending how they look or what's needed on the end product. Maybe GoRhino should be added here for a true slider option, if so, please chime in...

I have seen lots of RockHard 4x4 products; great stuff, build, and following the body curve (is this the only slider that does this?) They look great.

Expedition One, anyone have them, or experiences with them, they make great stuff, yet stopped making these.

Rocky Road - Looks solid, build, and price, I think paying $300 for powder coating is ridiculous and I'll stand by that thought

White Knuckle - Seem solid and good quality, any owners or pictures? If shipping isn't including and adds an additional $300+ I'm out, just other options on the block and not going to get my vote this go round.

Thanks for the assistance

I can 100% vouch for the Rockhard sliders, they just saved my butt today from some bodywork when I went into a mud pit too fast and bottomed out HARD. So far it looks like the only thing hurt was my back from bouncing off the seat.

I've had mine for a year and they've given me a ton of piece of mind, just add a bit of grit tape to the slider and they make a great step. First thing I bought to replace the flimsy drop steps the truck came with, Northridge was nice enough to drop them right off at my door.

Shipping is going to be a problem.

I got the White Knuckle sliders. Totally bomb proof. At Rausch Creek. I dropped from a 3ft ledge on to them. The only damage was that i peeled some of the LineX off of them.

Any trouble fishing the plates into the frame, and did you do the optional drilling?

I've got the RockHard sliders. I love the look of them, but they're starting to rust after 18 months. They don't warranty the powder coating. I might have got a bad batch.

stop worrying and get the Rock Hards. I have had mine for over 2.5 years and no issues with them.
These are my next ones two! They look great too

I love the ace sliders I have on my JKUR but hate the price they charge now. I would go with the rockhard or shrockworks.

I had no trouble fishing the plates in the frame. I watched a video on it. So I knew what to expect. I did the optional drilling. I used a angle head air drill that I had. So I didn't had to remove the rails to drill the holes. It will take you a good day to install them. I did it by myself using jack stands to hold them in place.

Second set of Ace engineering. JLU now JT. Happy with them (one cool feature is you can leave your rubicon sliders on) but yes the new prices are rough.

Thanks Russ. I have the Barricade sliders which won't really do it for the rock work here in AZ and NM. I did keep the JTR sliders, so it sounds like these will fit the bill. Thanks.
