The SIM card that comes in Jeep is from AT&T and they charge anywhere from $20 per GB of wi-fi hotspot per month. Whereas, being Verizon employee, I get unlimited data for $25 a month. Is it possible to swap the SIM card that came pre-installed?

Nope
It's an eSim like the new iPhone and Apple Watch and iPads have.
No way to change carrier.

Actually you can change carriers with an esim. I was researching it a couple days ago.
Heres one site that describes esims.

In the past, you couldnā€™t use an AT&T phone on the Verizon network because one used GSM while the other used CDMA. Is this still an issue?

Well, in Canada it is:
20GB Connected Car Data Plan for 12 Months $200/year

So you get like 1.6GB a month for that kind of money lol. FUNNY!

This is interesting. So if you can change providers from AT&T to say T mobile by adding a line, or transferring a line to the esim, could be cheaper than what AT&T would charge. Where would one find the esim imei number in the UConnect 8.4?

It's all LTE now.

CDMA is being decommissioned.

To get IMEI in Dodge:
Defrost, and Temp Up and Temp Down the same time.

Assuming Jeep would be the same?

Exactly. That's the whole reason I want to move out of AT&T

Got a question, so i live in Canada with Telus, I have unlimited (20gb) with my provider, not that Telus support ESIM, is that mean I can add the jeep to my plan?

Wait, is it unlimited with throttling at 20gb? Or just 20gb? Cause that ainā€™t unlimited

Trottle, but 20 gb, I'm happy with this. Lol

Yes I have 20 gb unlimited then Trottle with Telus.
Gotcha! I have 22gb then throttling with ATT and Iā€™ve gone over the limit many times. They send me a text saying I may be throttled. I usually donā€™t have any issues with unbearably slow speeds even after hitting that limit. I think they just want to have the option for high-congestion areas.
