Cant decide where to put ARB Dual compressor

I switched from the ARB passenger side under seat mount to the GRIMM mount. Couldn't be happier with having that loud thing out of the truck. Also being able to leave the doors closed when using (cold, wind, rain, etc.). I could have installed a chuck somewhere outside of the truck but the GRIMM mount was such an easy solution for my dislike of having it inside I went that route.

It was the water and mud that killed it. The filters on this one were not relocated which could have been the issue.

Very likely water being pulled in through the filters. I've had multiple jeeps with compressors mounted under the hood or in the wheel well... always added extensions to the filters and never had a problem.

I did the same. The noise isn’t that bad and with a 4 tire inflation setup it doesn’t take long.

Only difference is I routed my connection to the exterior though.

I used the Grimm offroad bracket and mounted mine in the engine bay. I am very happy with the location and the bracket has a bit of a shield to help with heat, granted not that much of one but it suits the purpose.

I did the same thing with the Grimm brackets. I got the kit that includes the spod mount. Super happy with it.

I really didn't want it inside the truck for noise and space.

It wasn't a difficult installation, just make sure you have a few fender clips on hand, I broke 3 of them.

My engine bay doesn't look anything like yours. I've also found that mud seems to be able to into everything just by running into a couple of mud puddles.

For me mud works its way from the bottom up. Your are spending too much time inverted!
