I just replaced all my carpet with Armorlite.

Anyone looking for an extra set of basically new carpet. I will even throw in the basically new floor mats (carpet) as well.

Say $50 bucks? Located in 20105.

I don't really want to ship it, it would require a big box, and I can't imagine it being worth it. If anyone really wants me to ship it, I will if you pay shipping.

Was the armorlite worth it? Looking at potentially adding it to my gladiator as well. Mind posting some pics? Thanks!

So far so good. Happy I did it...

I put down dynamat along the entire floor first, and then put in the armorlite. I have only had it in for 30 hours so far, but it is noticeably quieter. I have the the hothead headliner in with sound assassin as well, and it is very quiet in the truck. Can't say much about temperature control yet given the weather, but I imagine it will do a good job.

The stuff is a lot thicker than I imagined. it is not just the rubber/vinyl surface, there is like a wool backing. I would say its probably almost have an inch thick in total. Really solid stuff.

My only complaint, is that it does seem a little bit slick when wet. The first day I had it in, it was rainy, and my shoes definitely slip a little on the flooring. If you are used to a rubber all weather floor mat, this is not like that. It is more like a textured vinyl surface. Not slick, but not like rubber, if that makes any sense.

I will need to use it a bit more to see how slippery they really are. It could be that pair of shoes has weird traction on it or something. Overall, I am still really happy with it, but if you are specifically looking for non-slip, I think another type of rubber all weather mat would be better for that purpose.

Just a few more things:

The fit is perfect. Dead on in all directions.

It is a bit of a bear to install with 1 person. Its just unwieldy. I took out the front seats, the rear seat storage, and removed the two screws behind the plastic cover pieces on each side of the center console. This let me lift the center console a bit, which helped with tucking the rear piece under it. The hardest part was tucking the fronts under the door side trim.

The rear seat area actually has 4 drains in the Jeep, but the armorlite only has two drains. Not a big deal, but I had pulled out all 4 plugs from the Jeep, and then laid down the armorlite. Then I realized that two of the drains weren't cut out of the armorlite, so I had to lift it back up, and re-insert the factory plugs in the other two. I probably could have left them unplugged, but didn't want to give an avenue for water to come up from under the truck.

This stuff is tough. It would take something really bad to happen to damage this floor.

Probably more than you wanted to know, but hopefully it helps.
