I have seen these used on industrial trucks and off road equipment. Not sure if they were custom fabricated or not. Would help keep steps from hanging up on things and a lot cheaper than retractable steps. (Never saw them dipped before.)

Those are way nicer than some I've seen! Think bike chain or swing set chain, not a pretty sight.

If you’re going that direction, go with a stirrup from an old saddle you can attach to the seat frame. Open door drop it out, climb up and in and pull stirrup back in. Cowboy style!

The stirrup is cool, I have seen similar before. The chain set up only flexes front to rear though so there is decent stability and it does not swing in or out. Seems like a better option for the wife and old guys like me.
