As far as I'm concerned, all car dealers are untrustworthy.

I had a friend that did fleet sales for various Ford dealerships around here, I bought from him until he retired.

I bought the JT through my Credit Union, no fuss, no muss, here's the price take it or leave it.

These surveys are a lot like political polls. They are there to generate news not report it. That said I have hated 95% of experiences i have had with CDJR dealers in ABQ, NM.

Unless I'm reading wrong, this seems to suggest that the DEALERS don't trust the manufacturer and says nothing about the customer's trust of any particular brand of dealer.

Why do we care who the dealer trusts or doesn't?

Because as the old saying goes: shit rolls downhill.

If your dealer doesn't trust Stellantis, chances are you won't trust your dealer.

For the EcoDiesel, Larry H. Miller has been good.
They won't even return my calls. I left a message with the service person 4 days in a row and never got a call back.

It's a top-down system. The customer will be happiest when the dealer is being supported by the mothership. For example, warranty denials happen because the manufacturer doesn't want to pay, so they find excuses to deny warranty. That leaves the dealer in a tough situation since they will take the brunt of the blame.

After a week of not returning my calls I went down there to find out they hadn't even touched it yet even though I had made an appointment a month in advance.

Yeah, LM told me the earliest they could get it in to look at it was mid February. Dennis Dillon set me up for Wednesday.

Have you had any warranty work done there yet?
Yes, and their EcoDiesel tech was topnotch. I spent a good 15 minutes talking to him. He was very informed, very knowledgeable, and very familiar with aftermarket tuning, etc.

Since COVID, I've been using the diesel tech(s) in Farmington (Advantage Dodge). Kevin was my diesel tech up until this summer. They now have a new guy. The new guy did the HPFP recall and everything worked out well. The Service Department told me the new tech is really good, too.

Larry H. Miller and Advantage Dodge have a designated EcoDiesel tech, so those guys have seen it all.

And just to be clear, I've only had basic work done under the recalls/warranty work (water pump, EGR cooler, DEF Pump, HPFP).

I stopped going to Larry H Miller because they assigned a specific Service Advisor to be over the 2014 - 2016 EcoDiesel AEM (Approved Emissions Modification). That lady was absolutely horrible. She had zero customer service skills, she was very rude, and she wasn't smart enough to answer any questions. That's when I started going to Farmington. I live two hours form Albuquerque and two hours from Farmington, so it didn't matter to me.

I do miss the EcoDiesel diesel tech at Larry H Miller. That guy was awesome to work with. I have no idea if he still works there.

Farmington has been great. If they can't complete the warranty/recall the day it's scheduled to be repaired, then they will provide a rental and/or loaner. They gave us a brand-new Ram 2500 Cummins to drive for about 30 days due to a backordered part, then they got us a Charger to drive from Enterprise the second time. They told me that Stellantis will only reimburse them for rentals if it's a FCA product. In other words, they won't reimburse the dealer if Enterprise only has Ford, GM, Toyota, etc. It has to be a Dodge, Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep vehicle.

Did you tell the service manager about this person? If you care, you should speak up. If you don't care, then spread the bad news far and wide and let them rot in hell. I, personally, hate to see a place that I respect and like get their reputation trashed due to one bad employee. I quit getting work done at my favorite dealership because they got a new service manager who was an absolute liar. I spoke to his boss (who was the previous service manager) and told him I wouldn't be back while that guy worked there. I assume there were more than a few reports of unscrupulous behavior because he was gone soon after. I resumed using them as soon as I found out.
