(I'm burying this thread over here out of respect for new 2020 Gladiator Purchasers; pls move it as needed; sharing because it'll be happening soon for everyone's JT builds; I honestly hope nobody reads it or it gets deleted because it just can't be real.)

    Holy bananas!!!!!

Jeepers, don't matter how many times you done it. This deal causes tightness and swelling.

If this thing exists (it might, restored & survivor, really?!?)...

If it's on the truck (it there is a transport)...

If it gets here in 7 days (drive good!! don't crash!!!)...

If it's the one pictured (zero chance it's the beauty pictured, right ?!)

If it's as described (running and driving, purrs like a sports car ...)

If I get keys handed to me ... (I won't believe it til my big ass is depressing the pedals and she moves for me like she loves me. '"Oh CINDY!!!)

    Then I'll be LOL, ROTFLMAO.

    ...Deep breaths...

Forgive my ignorance as I’m new around here and haven’t read many posts, but I’m trying to understand what you’ve written above. Did you buy a vintage Gladiator sight unseen and are presently awaiting delivery?

Welcome! Thanks for checking in. What's your JT build look like?

    Answer, yes you understand precisely.

So maybe I bought a restored truck, way under 10K initial outlay, to be modified as I want with 25K budget over time. That'd be a winner!

Or very possibly I bought no truck or rust bucket or non runner ripoff, meaning I'm a fool and out some money and sleeping on the couch, living in a POS Gladiator down by the river.

    Time will tell.

    My math ...

A low risk high reward on a restomod plan beats intentionally high price model.

    Because..

Initial outlay (this one and/or the next one) under 10K. If this works I'll have like 25 large for mods budget...

    ....beats the hell out of...

guaranteed initial outlay of 40K+ for a driveable computer, lifestyle vehicle.

    Good times. Stay tuned!

Well folks... Ripoff! Looks like a dissappearing act. That would have been deal of century, so was worth the gamble. If it looks to good to be true... why thieves work for so little is beyond me, given the risks. Any news I'll update... I'm on to the next...

Okay so spasmo here opened the link to the website this morning and it was down. So being the assuminator of course determined the deal fell through. Now, the page is back up! Says truck is somewhere along I-10 in Louisiana, still, even though it is supposed to be in Arizona yesterday. I have no idea and no expectations. This is the most fun curves I've navigated in awhile and either way I'm learning a ton about Jeep Trucks for my eventual build. Whether it's this one, another resto, or JT and maybe a resto, all good! More as it happens!

I apologize! This was my error. Sorry to drag anyone through this tale; fun as it was! I hope you learn from my mistake. I am out some cash and some pride. What got me was ... Pay a little now and get everything you ever ever ever wanted in one Jeep Truck... Read about it here, just substitute jeep where they talk about what kind of car was involved (it's three pages).

I’m so sorry you got ripped off. I wonder about their humanity.
    Thank you for sharing.

Sorry man, was really looking forward to watching this build. I miss my days of buying older jeeps and fixing them up. Maybe when my little guys is close to driving age I'll make that his first vehicle .
