Looks great! Waiting on my 2.5” kit to arrive. I went ahead and got the longer brake lines to be safe. Finally got some time to get my lift done. Clayton Ride Rite 2.5 w/37 inch Maxxis Razrs. Ride is amazing! Way taller than expected, ground to rooftop is roughly 78 inches.
Have only one concern. Went today to have my tires rotated and the shop supervisor was concerned about the rear brake lines when on the lift. They were stretched pretty bad. Is anyone else with this kit swapping lines or putting in a brake line extension? Anyways, enjoy the pics.
Thanks, you will love it! Yeah gonna order the brake lines also, its a safe measure. My sliders are from Shrockworks out of Houston TX. They are awesome. They bolt to the frame and you have the option of adding steps to them. Liked them so much, I went ahead and ordered their front bumper also to match.Looks great! Waiting on my 2.5” kit to arrive. What sliders you got? They look good.
Looks great! Brake lines can always be purchased along with the 2.5" kit if you're looking for extra peace of mind! In our testing, they do look stretched with axles drooped on a lift, but in real-world situations, you shouldn't have any issues. Always up to you of course, new brake lines won't hurt anything that's for sureFinally got some time to get my lift done. Clayton Ride Rite 2.5 w/37 inch Maxxis Razrs. Ride is amazing! Looks awesome!!Pre Lift:
Post Lift:
I will recommend the brake lines, for 30 minutes of work including bleeding its worth the peace of mind. I also will say that at first the lift felt STIFF but after about 200 miles it seems to have settled and broke in a bit and now it rides better than stock.
Edit: Will mention that I'm on metal cloak upper and lower fronts, and steer smarts track bar upfront. Rear is the clayton trackbar.
Agreed! Very nice looking buildLooks awesome!!
What shocks did you go with? They look like bilstein 5100s? Are they?Have had my 2.5" Ride Right installed for about a month now. Love it!
You are correct, 5100s.What shocks did you go with? They look like bilstein 5100s? Are they?
I have a set waiting to be installed with my eibach springs. How do you like them so far?You are correct, 5100s.
They ride pretty decent. A little firm, but nice and controlled feeling.I have a set waiting to be installed with my eibach springs. How do you like them so far?
With out shock extenders it's going to ride horrible as you will basically be at the top of the shock. Will the stock shocks on a Willys be useable with this lift kit ? I assume it will limit travel a bit. Is there an option for disconnect-able sway bar end links ?
