im sure you can still see that. I’d probably have one if it weren’t for Mojave.

those are cool, Losses aren’t that bad from what I’ve seen. Volume of run can counteract bad flow a bit.
but a bit higher, no cooler.

I got a money idea. Class action on the “cold air intakes” as they have been a ripoff since day one.[/QUOTE]

Like all cars and truck the window pillar can limit your view
This set up I look right over the top and did not add to the window pillar obstructing my view

Right - you can see it but no matter - it doesn't interfere or obstruct what the factory didn't already obstruct.
My only question - do you notice "wind noise" since it's up there in a shape and position to cause turbulence. (even mirrors are shaped and designed to minimize noise where possible)

Frankly - I not only like the color scheme you have going, but this fits right in with the look and theme of your truck.

Totally non-stock, of course........
Actually, the engines are fairly stock in the 1700 class. There are only a few "power enhancing" mods allowed. 250ci limit.

Rule book, starting on pg. 9...

Interesting. Actually, thanks for the link.
I want to get a TJ or similar and drop in the 401 I have sitting here. would likely destroy the Jeep in the process, but I've always wanted to have some fun like that.
But a 250 cid limit means the 258 or larger is out, only the 4.0 (242) could be used.

It's a good day - learned some new stuff.

Other classes as well, all the way up to almost no limits. Looks like a pretty cool series.

I would have bought the Mopar cai if I kept the stock hood but I changed the hood and went went with the Rugge Ridge low profile snorkel.

Would there be any water intrusion into the cab from the vents under the wipers?
