Here’s my new to me grille off face book…I took a scotch scuffing pad to it, then 400 grit sandpaper follow up, washed it with Dawn dish soap (removes oil off from the fingers) then wiped it down with a tack rag. Three coats of Canyon Black Satin and two coats of Clear Satin. So, I’m into the grille paint job for about $12.00 plus my labor
. I’ll post a pic after I get it installed in a few days. While doing the grille project since i going to have most of it apart, I thought I’d also redo some other things on the front end a bit… I’m
adding a 2” flush mount receiver hitch to my Tyger stubby bumper, relocating my front camera in the bumper this time instead of the grille (more protection), adding a Ruby front metal skid (going to hot wrench it a little to flush fit amber fogs lights behind the skid)
