CR is a completely illegitimate and objectively biased organization. I remember my father buying the magazines in the 80-90s for info on which power tool, washing machine, or lawnmower to buy. Without fail, whatever their recommendations were ended up being expensive, disappointing, and just plain bad advice.

CR later went on to join the hate-America auto journalist group-think crowd. Yeah, Honda and Toyota made a few really great vehicles during a time when Ford, Chevy, and Mopar made a few exceptionally terrible vehicles. CR's overwhelming sycophantism in favor of their foreign car gods persisted well past the average American waking up to that charade.
