I had this problem on all 4 doors of my Jeep JL. I have a 10 day old Mojave and my drivers door already sounds as bad as my 43K mile JL doors. Unreal to me that Jeep can't fix this problem. Apparently it's how the doors are welded. The only way I was able to get rid of it is to unbolt the door stopper off the B pillar and slam the door so it recesses inside the door. So then you will have an old school Jeep door that will won't stay open on its own anymore. Sorry for the small rant, but this is such a dumb problem to have.

Omg, such an annoying issue. Ive had it on both my front doors since the day I bought it. Even had the dealer swap the door catches, still not fixed. So annoying.

That doesn't sound like creaking, but some have that problem. The rear door stopper on the driver's side is clunking.

It's an awful design flaw. Almost every JL owner complains about it. Disconnect the door stop and slam the door. It will be recessed inside and then noise will be gone. So will the stoping of your door which I don't care about. I hate the noise that much.

I work for another major auto manufacturer. I'm in an assembly plant. Not saying all places are the same, but if there are consistent issues with our car, we know all about it.

I say that to say, they have to know, and are simply choosing not to address it.

Try spraying them with a dry lube, or WD40, or something similar. I use graphite spray.

No luck. Even had the dealer replace them under warranty. Issue persists.

My driver's door started clicking back in 2022, when my JTM was a year old.

That was soon followed by the passenger's front door, although not as bad as the driver's door. I unhooked the door check to 'fix' the driver's door but never did anything for the passenger's front door. It would noticeably click every time the door was opened or closed.

About 2 months ago, on a whim, I applied some Boeshield to the door seam just outboard of the door seal on my clicking front passenger door. After applying the Boeshield, I opened & closed the door about 6-8 times and the noise just stopped. The clicking noise has been gone ever since. I can't believe it worked.

For those with the door clicking, you may want to try this remedy.

Here is the seam where I applied the Boeshield:
(This is the pass. side front door)
One pic shows the pencil pointing at the seam, and the other shows the pencil point inserted into the seam.
