Hello. Since the days are so short right now I am leaving the house in darkness and I drive home in darkness. I can't seem to figure out the dashboard display brightness. It's either so dark I can't see it well or is blinding me with brightness. It seems that one of the wheel switches by the headlight selector should allow for adjustment.

I went through the settings on the screen and it let me turn up the brightness on the radio but not the other screen.

There is 2 buttons by your left knee on the dash they roll up or down one of the controls the dashboard and the road screen brightness I can’t remember which button it is but this will dim the dash lights as well as the radio lights I turned mine down because all I could see in the rear window was the radio display shining real bright

Yes but mine goes from blinding like the sun to very dim. No in between.

I have a rubicon and on my switch there just one place that if you don’t hit it just right it will go out or go bright I had to mess with it a few times to find the happy spot after you find the spot everything will be just bright enough that it’s good for driving at night

That switch also does something strange with the interior lights as well. I randomly have to turn off my interior light after going topless it seems.

There are two clicks on the right dimmer control. Rotating it all the way up to the first click is the position of maximum dashboard display brightness all the time, rotating up two the next click turns on the interior dome light. You don't want maximum dashboard display brightness at night, the dashboard display brightness will automatically dim when the headlight are on if the dimmer control is not in the fist click position. When the lights are off (manual or auto) I believe display brightness will be maximum no matter what position the the right dimmer control is in.
