Ok, so I’m in need of ya’ll’s knowledge. So I was taking my drivers door off of my ‘20 JT. When I removed the drivers door access panel for the wiring harness and I saw a plug hanging there. So could someone please Educate me and tell me what does this go to?

i looked this AM, and i may have the same cord, but it is tucked way underneath and heads to the firewall. I have an Overland with lots of options.

doors off numerous times and have never seen a plug like that. '20JTR loaded.

Book says gray 4 pin connector under dash to left of brake pedal.
At least that's what the owner manual says about "aftermarket brake controller connector"

The wire colors look like speaker wire colors... But I've never pulled the doors off mine, so I have no idea.

Yep. Except this is what my brake controller receptacle looks like:

Though I have also seen brake controllers that have ends matching up to the OP’s picture.

That is the OBDII diagnostic port. AKA where you plug in a scan tool.
