Went offroad today in the jersey pine barrens to see what my sport could do. I was impressed on what I got over without hitting the belly. I did how ever tap my bumpers coming off one obstacle. So the question I have is how much punishment can the rear bumper take? If its tied into frame will tapping it or dragging it ever so often damage more then just the bumper? Not used to taking a pick up off road.

It’ll take whatever you can dish out but there will be some “residual affects” from the collision of metal and earth.

Depending on the terrain it is possible for the rear end to get hung up on the spare tire, hitch and/or bumper. But that’s what makes off roading so much fun and challenging as you’ll want to try and avoid those situations. :captain:

Makes sence . I will avoid it as much as I can but wont worry about a little tail drag or bumping. Thanks for your input.
