Looking for single steps that is detachable to the factory Rubicon rock rails. Prefer to not drill.

They bolt on to existing slider brackets attachment points, check out the instructions on their website, no drilling needed. expensive, but is the only option I've seen for OEM rails, seem well built, but if you are dragging on your slider they might take a beating....Jack

i know you said no drilling, but I just ordered the Lund/ Rampage rock slider steps. I will be installing them on the factory rock rails with riv nuts. It seemed like an inexpensive option worth trying.

Per MORE's description

"Got Rocks? No problem. Our step can quickly be removed with two grenade like pull pins that allows you to put the step behind your seat and gives you the clearance you need when crawling over the rocks. Just pop the pins back in when you are off the trail and back on the highway."

I wonder how you deploy them when youā€™re exiting the truck....

I have them. I just slide my foot down the edge of the slider as I'm exiting the truck until I catch the projecting edge of the step and push it down. It works ok for exiting the truck, but I use it more when getting in than getting out.

I like the MORE steps. I was torn between them or the Ace sliders that can install over the factory rock rail and be used as a step. Went with MORE due to availability and not having to remove cab bolts for the install. Very happy and would buy the MORE again.

Do you know if the Hide-A-Step can be mounted with the existing Chrome Tubular Sidesteps on my Overland? It looks like this would be exactly what I need for my vertically challenged girlfriend with my lift and 35" tires.

I did that to my rails about 2 months ago. Used the same brand. Been working out great.

Thatā€™s very interesting...

Do you have any pics and/or part numbers?

These are what I used. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K6DN6DE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Like the other person said, you do have to do some drilling. So if that's not what you want to do, this isn't the way to go. The pic that I attached is an older pic because I don't put them on unless my wife or someone who will need them is going to be riding. And there is also a friend of mine from my area with a JT who did the same thing.
