Parts are on order! The ACE Engineering rock sliders were ordered at the end of December, no update on those yet. The plan is to try to sell my Ultra4/Go Fast TJ after this build is complete. We'll see though!

The TJ only has 2 seats, and the coil over hoops and fuel cell, battery etc.. is in the back. I've got two kids now, so priorities have changed a bit :)

We're getting it finished up here is a video of the exhaust routing and cammed LS3 running https://photos.app.goo.gl/Sr3A3FXDdmobi6yY9

btw, I'm from Canada as well. Sudbury, Ontario to be exact. That's where the outdoors & off road roots started.
Very nice! Sound like a beast.

Drove through Sudbury on my last x-Canada trip; it was a looooong haul between TB (where we stayed) and TO (which was our next stop), but a beautiful part of the country. So many lakes, that I'd wished I'd had my kayak with me to explore a little! Next time we might plan to add a day and stop in Sudbury to shorten the driving time.

You ever make it back up that way, or are you making Houston your permanent home?

Houston is my permanent home for now. I do make it up to Toronto once or twice a year, and Sudbury every couple of years.

One of my best past times growing up over there was canoeing. Often you'd approach the end of some lakes, but it would just be some shallow soupy weeds, and you could just push yourself through to another lake! :)

Did you know that show Letterkenny is filmed there? I had no idea until I noticed some scenes that looked oddly familiar.

Growing up there, people living there sort of took it for granted and would call it a bit of a sh*t hole. However after leaving for many years, you realize how nice it is, especially the outdoors. #rantoff :)

If you're ever in Texas let me know.

That's awesome. Love the narrowed front end with frenched-in fenders! I'd love to build a Jeep buggy one day.

curious as to why you went with the 219 rear fox shock. I ordered the same lift (comes in Thursday) but got the 221 rear shock. Says the 219 is only for 1.5” lift.

Hey guys, the 219's are a bit too short. However if you are at full flex with the 221 it looks like the spring might fall out on the rear without limiting straps.

So yeah, the 221's should work, but just watch at full flex. 220 might be a better model.

I opted for the Falcon 3.3 for the 2-3” lift as its extended and collapsed lengths fall within range of the MC specs I was given.
