Diamondback owners Im fitting my cover and positioning per the manual i have a bit of interference with the back lock rod bracket (welded piece with the hole in it) and where the bed rails narrow. Is this normal? I think if i nudge it forward a smidge it will clear better but then the cab side will overhang the bulkhead a little rather than being flush. Just wondering if others fit similar?

I left it as is....after a few usage the metal made its way into the plastic. No harm done

I've got just a hair of clearance on both sides. The front and rear of the gladiator bed is curved and the cover is straight so it's never going to be fully flush. So you kind of just have to split the difference.

Weird. My cover is flush with the outside edge of the bed in front and I had no clearance issues.
Sucks to have to modify something brand new, but should be east to trim the corner of that bracket.

I’d definitely just trim that corner

Mine didn't have that issue when it was in the right spot. Are you sure it doesn't need to be scooted back just a little? Thats what I found with mine.
