So, I know that the gross weight of a car is the weight of a car and the cargo/passengers. Curb weight is just the weight of the car without cargo/passengers. What is base weight? Jeep website lists the base weight and curb weight for the Rubicon as the same at 5,072 lbs for auto transmission but it is different for the other trims, base weight seems to be lower by a few pounds...

Any experts in the forum who know the difference?

Curb weight means the actual or the manufacturer’s estimated weight of the vehicle in operational status with all standard equipment, and weight of fuel at nominal tank capacity, and the weight of optional equipment.

Base weight can be the same as curb weight, but is usually the weight without a driver, fluids, fuel, etc.
The two are often used interchangeably, though - but normally base is with no coolant, no oil, no other fluids, no fuel.

Curb weight has historically been the weight of the vehicle if you were hauling it like I do - oil, fuel, coolant and so on.

I pulled my stock Rubicon on the truck scales by work and with me inside the weight was 5440#, so subtract my lard ass, 200# and your at 5240#, I believe that was with about 1/2 tank of gas.
