I've been struggling to figure out the difference between these two sets of OEM Headlights. Can anyone help me out?

Hi Dan,

Stop struggling! :)

The more expensive kit contains the exact same OE parts as the mopar accessory kit however its available now as opposed to the Mopar kit which has been on backorder for over a year now.

I will send you a code incase you have interest in ordering either one.

So it is just a more expensive sku of the same parts? Trying to decide on this vs Oracle or Diode Dynamics.

Only 2020s need the 'kit'. It just adds a wiring harness to the BCM for the 'halo' lights and some plastic fender liner rivets. 2021+ gas just need the right and left headlights, purchased seperately. Diesel needs a short 1 foot harness passenger side. The install is like 10 minutes on a 2021+. 1 or 2 hours on a 2020.

You of course still need to program the BCM for LEDs and Halos using Tazer, Jscan, AlfaOBD etc.

The ONLY owners who need that kit are 2020 owners. 2021+ has the BCM connections present. I have a 2021, this was all that was required :

I think Jeep stopped making the kit because only 2020s need it.

So if I remove the Mopar LED headlights from my 2020 JL Wrangler I can plug them into my 2023 Mojave and they will be fully functional with the assistance of my Tazer? No additional wiring harness required?
Thanks in advance.

No harness needed but as far as we know programming still required for them to function properly.
