Difficulty getting Affiliate Discount?

Has anyone had this problem. While I joined Tread Lightly too late to get use of the 1% before it was removed as an option, I still negotiated a decent deal and made the purchase. Now as I wait in this brutal purgatory for the build, affiliate comes back alive. My salesperson after discussing with her manager has stated this is a 1% from invoice, and I have already negotiated x% from invoice. No can do.

Are there any others out there that have won this battle?

I already had a 5% under invoice deal and asked the dealer if I could tack on the additional 1% for affiliate pricing for a total of 6% under invoice.

"No problem!"

Criswell added it to the 5% I was already getting, so now I'm at 6%

The managers explanation makes perfect sense to me. You already have a better deal. To me the tread lightly program is for people that do not know how or care to negotiate.

Am I misunderstanding? Isn't the Affiliate program a passthrough for the Dealer. No cost, no gain? Direct from FCA?
