How to install Halos in a Rubicon with standard Headlights (non LED). Once you have the headlights out you will need to remove the clear hard plastic lens. First I tried the backing method. Twice with no luck. So using drimal tool I cut the outside . You cut about 3/8 inch from the top our just above the radius about 1/16 inch up. There are two places you don’t cut(by the mounting points). Don’t cut too deep. Once the side is removed you need to scrap all glue out, the take a pick with a 90 degree end and work it between the lens and inside lip. Take your time. Once off clean all surfaces off for later assembly. Now drill out one of the brown vent caps to 15/64 inch For wire. you have to remove the plug howling to pass wire through. Setup and test halo. I used black rtv to attach the halo to reflector. Use a quip with alcohol to remove any rtv that gets onto the halo. Let setup 24 hr. Then attach lens with clear silicone. The wires go back to the fender plug. (Flat six pin). The black ground goes to pin 6. ( the black wire on one end)
Red wire to pin 5. DRL only
White wire to pin 4. DRL/Headlight.
Yellow to pin 2. Turn.
