Having spent arguably way too much for some sheets of plastic imported from Australia, I went the DIY route for a rack.

HomeDepot 1” aluminum square tube, some 1 1/2” aluminum C stock for cross braces and some U pipe clamps, asst stainless hardware.

I wasn’t thrilled about the MaxTrax pins, and a lot of the aftermarket racks were either too pricey and/or insufficiently secure. I also wanted the boards to run inline with the rack and overhang the cab (so I can have some room for longer items like surfboards or kayaks) but I didn’t want to actually trap the cab with hardware in case I want to remove it.

See the pics, holds 4 recovery boards, can be locked using a 6’ bike cable passed through the boards, around the rack and through the pipe clamps. Turned out pretty good.
