Mine is also slack. Not bad enough to flap when driving but should be tighter.

You can go to HomeDepot and buy some 1x1/2” PVC strips in the baseboard isle in six foot lengths. Cut to the length of the bow you want adding 2” each side. Heat with a hair dryer and bend 2” 90s on each side. Clamp to bed rails.

You’re welcome.👍

I do not have pictures because it was done on my former Silverado. My Gladiator has a trifold so the bows are built in. Because my bed was so short it only took one to remove the slack from flapping at speed. Cost me less than $10 because I had mini clamps for the bed rails. Stopped water from pooling on it.

Cool, no flapping , and honestly if it wasn't for the freezing i would'nt care much about the water either. I think i can remove it when it warms up and put a little more arc in them!!

If it's from the factory, take it to the dealership and have them fix it.

Its not necessarily a problem for them if it keeps the weather out, just a peeve for me.

Problem solved , flipped the cover ( while on the truck ) so the crossbars were upside down and across were they normally would sit, just upside down, and applied pressure. Bent the bars until there was enough bow and it tightened the cover . No slack left, perfect.

Are you sure there aren't any adjusting screws on the Mopar cover?
I looked at several other brands, and I have the Truxedo, and many have provisions for tensioning the cover.
