Mine is the same I have the MOPAR brand. I don't think you can.Does anyone have an idea how to take the slack out of the soft rolling tonneau ?
I just hate the water pooling in it, drives me nuts!!Mine is also slack. Not bad enough to flap when driving but should be tighter.
Might take it off this spring and try to bow the crossbars a little more.Mine is the same I have the MOPAR brand. I don't think you can.
Got any pictures? ThxYou can go to HomeDepot and buy some 1x1/2” PVC strips in the baseboard isle in six foot lengths. Cut to the length of the bow you want adding 2” each side. Heat with a hair dryer and bend 2” 90s on each side. Clamp to bed rails.
You’re welcome.
Will take some, getting the JKS 3.5 put in today!!!Got any pictures? Thx
I do not have pictures because it was done on my former Silverado. My Gladiator has a trifold so the bows are built in. Because my bed was so short it only took one to remove the slack from flapping at speed. Cost me less than $10 because I had mini clamps for the bed rails. Stopped water from pooling on it.Got any pictures? Thx
Cool, no flapping , and honestly if it wasn't for the freezing i would'nt care much about the water either. I think i can remove it when it warms up and put a little more arc in them!!I do not have pictures because it was done on my former Silverado. My Gladiator has a trifold so the bows are built in. If it's from the factory, take it to the dealership and have them fix it.Does anyone have an idea how to take the slack out of the soft rolling tonneau ?
Its not necessarily a problem for them if it keeps the weather out, just a peeve for me.If it's from the factory, take it to the dealership and have them fix it.
Are you sure there aren't any adjusting screws on the Mopar cover? My Truxedo brand has two adjustment screws in the front for this.
