Does windshield have to be dropped to install the Vector Bar?

Does the windshield have to be dropped to install the bar? I know it will be an easier install if I drop it but is it possible without doing it?

No, you don't have to drop windshield.

You will need an allen wrench or a universal adapter for an allen socket.

I didn't have any issues leaving it up. My bear paws fit just fine. Only issue was as I told him, need either a swivel for the socket or an allen wrench to tighten the two close to the glass.

Took me less time to drop the windshield than it would have taken to find tools that fit with it up.

I have a good set of tools so I did it without having to drop the windshield. Thanks for the help!
