Needed a place to hold doors, so threw something together… I need to lower the one set of eyes, but pretty stable, and makes the doors easy to store and transport.

Did you buy some kind of hinge kits?
Nope, just some 3/16 diameter screw eyes. (I think that’s the size… I’d have to confirm… just took a door hinge bolt in and found an eye it fit in)

Why do you have them mounted so high up? Keeping them lower improves stability and minimizes potential damage. Just remember, the higher you have it the more the doors get damaged if it happens to tip/fall. And the higher up they are, the easier it is for it to tip/fall.

Just an accident. I was going to go for them at the same height as installed on the truck, but I just guessed at the height, and got it wrong. I'll lower the rear door eyes when I put the doors back on the truck.

When I put the truck back together, I'll get some pics

I ordered this from Offroad Concepts and this is how I hang my doors in the shed. Its obviously not mobile but the doors are pretty light. Especially compared to the older TJ's, YJ's and CJ's steel doors.

I looked at the wall mounts, but I prefer to keep the garage dynamic, and able to change the layout as needed. All my cabinets in the garage are on castors so they can be moved.

The cart also allows me to have it truck side so I don't have to carry the doors as far removing and replacing...

Agreed. Created my cart with pretty much the same goals.

How's the stability when there's only a single door on it - especially if it's a heavier/wider front door? Does it get tippy even with the sand bag?

It does not get tippy at all. The bag of cement was only on it at the time to keep it off the floor, lol. Now, with that said, I do have to be mindful going over bumps in the cement, but you'd want to do that anyway.

Ideally, and I didn't do it because of the bag of cement, the front roof panels will get stored on the cart as well, in-between the doors.

If I were to redesign a v2, I'd look at ways to incorporate top removal and/or storage into the cart as well.

Awesome - thanks! Ordering.

@Gren71 - do the door plungers cause issue? I don't want to shove mine in, want to keep using.

Ordered the cart, delrin bushings, door pin covers, and Jpeggz mirrors. Stoked.
no issues what so ever. Really, a well made product!
