Those do me absolutely no good because I don't and won't have tube doors.

Any one use the mirrors I asked about?

Curious as well about these mirrors. I almost ordered them myself.

What gets me is pretty much every mirror available has terrible reviews on that site. I really wish they would release the mirror movers for the JL/JT. Really need something good for summer.

There was a dude on here last year that said he used motorcycle/moped mirrors. He found them at the local auto parts store, and apparently they are threaded exactly the same as the bolts that hold on the cowl corner trim just in front of the door hinges. He was able to thread the arm of the mirror directly into the Jeep, which gave him mirrors that weren't attached to the doors. I think they were dirt cheap also. I'm going to look into that myself when spring comes.

I remember seeing that. I believe it was a M8x1.25...
I like the idea but i don't like the idea of someone or something bumping into it and possibly snapping the 8mm stud like a twig. Then having to extract a broken bolt....

At least by the look of the RR mirrors, they are in tighter to the body and have the surface area of the windshield hinge diameter to absorb some force....I could be wrong but that's how it looks

The CMM ones are way more than I'm going to pay for mirrors, regardless of quality.
Also they are useless for soft doors.

I found these other options as well

I'm just not a fan of the round mirror(prefer square)

I might try these just for proof of function.

The Amazon one scares me. The product images of it on the jeep look like they are photoshoped. lol
