Man, I really like that concept.

Obviously, this is to be installed inside a garage or shed. I just wonder if the doors would freely swing if they’re touched or bumped into (kids, dogs, or drunken nights come to mind). The folded up mirrors look pretty close to the wall too. Maybe there’s a way around that, I’m not sure. Hard to tell from the photos.

Still, nice storage option.

I think I would hang them with the back doors against the wall & the front doors out so you dont need to fold in the mirrors.
Wow.. you garage sounds like the place to be on any given time lol. I'm usually the only one that goes in my garage.
You could always buy one of those moving blankets from harbor freight and cover the doors for some extra assurance they wont get messed up.

That system should work. I like hanging the doors by the hinges rather than the window frame like other systems do. I also cover my doors with moving blankets for extra protection. Good luck with it.

Good idea! Not for me though.. I see scratches happening from hanging them every time. I think many have their different ideas. Looks like you found yours.

All of my friends hang them that way. No scratches. I used to hang them that way and now use a cart, also no problems either way. Really there's no reason to waste money on this.

I know it's was on my cj7 but I hung the doors the $8 way and eventually the area of the window track and the door began the crack. Not saying these aluminium doors would do the same but something to keep in mind.

Yea. I feel like the there would be some long term damage or warping if they were hung by the windows for long. Plus, these front doors are relatively heavy.

I came across this door storage solution scrolling thru FB and not sure if these have been posted. For the price it looks to be the best option for keeping doors out of the way when not on the JT. Looks simple but functional for $85.
Just ordered mine!

Like the way these hold the doors- but am I the only one who sees themselves throwing a tantrum after accidentally walking into them while they're empty?

How far do they protrude from the wall?

I saw plans online somewhere to build a cart out of PVC pipe. I might go that route so I can wheel them around to keep them out of the way. I think it was like 30 bucks to build.
