Doors off (trail) mirrors?

What is everyone using for mirror(s) when you take the doors off? Not really happy with the one I throw in the hinge (always moves on me).

Kikbax. They're $150 but well worth it IMO - takes literally 4 seconds to put them on after you get the doors off.

I went to a local bike shop and bought a Harley take off mirror. I then welded a stainless washer to the top and put a rubber hose the size of the hinge on it. when I tighten the nut up it squishes the rubber hose and tightens up nicely in the hinge. I have around $12 in it. been using it since 2012.

Looks like your rearview on the windshield will be enough to comply with Florda law.

316.294 Mirrors.—Every vehicle, operated singly or when towing any other vehicle, shall be equipped with a mirror so located as to reflect to the driver a view of the highway for a distance of at least 200 feet to the rear of the motor vehicle. A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a nonmoving violation as provided in chapter 318.

That's the same as South Carolina but I still prefer to have side mirrors.

I like the kixbax (sp?) and jpegz style since it's like a two-in-one with the step but the only thing is you can't use then with tube doors. So then you gotta more mirrors for those. Something like the CMM, or the ones that bolt on neat the cowl would be better in that sense.

I have these for my JKUR and I highly recommend them. Had them on going 78 down the highway and never had the highway wobble other mirrors have.

Yep. I just like a left mirror as backup. Little easier.

Right now I still just throw them in the house (on the carpet against the wall). Still looking for a good 4-door rack.
