I am a Jeep nut and have patiently waited for the Gladiator like many here. I have had mixed feelings on justifying the price and have mulled it over and over. I took my second drive today and after taking her for a good 20 plus mile drive and different roads. I am convinced she is worth the money and it really is a different ride from my JL Jeeps. I was amazed her handling at 65-70 miles and hour she just rolled down the road like nothing. And no choppy ride by any means since the pickup bed gives her a really solid foot print. I will post pictures after I get her this afternoon once I pickup my daughter and surprise her when we go the dealer. The exciting part for sure will be personalizing her like I have my other Jeeps. And oh yeah I am getting the Firecracker Red.
Here’s my two JL’s which they will have another sister and or should I say BIG BROTHER lol.
I always take this one to Florida she’s the only one that will fit.

Did you see the Firecracker red in person?
Was there any other colors to choose from?
I've selected red but after seeing the silver in person the other day I'm having some serious 2nd thoughts.
How was the red in person?

How do you like the Gladiator X Comp tires? Loud or bumpy? What size are they?

I saw the red in person at a car show. It looks so much better in person than it does in pictures. I also saw a silver one yesterday at a dealer. I thought it looked great too. But I still prefer the red.

I as you thought they would not be so great and so far they are better than I thought. And typically it takes some miles to really know so can’t answer for sure yet. But as of the moment they are quiet and good riding with no feel they are too aggressive.

My first Jeep was the Firecracker Red and I have missed that color. I felt that was the color for me since I already have the Silver and white in the JL’s. And maybe these pictures can help you see the beauty of the color.

I have already personalized her or should I say him a little bit. I used to own two Hellcats the 2016 Challenger and a Charger sold both last year those damn things get you into trouble way too fast lol.

My daughter was super surprised and could tell the difference in the ride and the Gladiator really does ride a lot smoother. And it’s truly a OVER THE TOP production vehicle which no other brand has to offer. I like many here questioned the pricing but can honestly say if your budget allows for the purchase don’t miss out on the fun. And I was amazed at all the gawkers on my test drive which this vehicle gets a ton of attention. So if you don’t like attention do not purchase one cause people are gonna look at you and want to talk to you. Jeep has definitely hit it on the head with this product and I have numerous vehicles which I can testify this is a very well designed vehicle for its purpose. And I had to come to closure to trade my very nice Toyota 4Runner Pro Calvary Blue for this to happen. And driving her home no regrets whatsoever and the Gladiator just kills the 4Runner on technology and convenience as well as safety.

If your looking for a damn nice used 4Runner here she is but it won’t be cheap they gave me 42k trade on a 48k purchase a year and half ago. The Toyota’s do hold their value but I think the Gladiator will be every but as good since this will not be a dime of dozen purchases.

I have !ready personalized her ....
Congrats! She looks really great.
I obsess over all my cars leading up to the purchase. I remember waiting nearly a year for my Range Rover Sport to get built and shipped only to cancel it and order a V8 SVR instead and wait another ... All that said, I think this is the most excited I have been about a vehicle ever because of all the possibilities it opens up for my family. The possibility of overlanding and camping in general, the possibility of having an actual truck that I can haul shit with... AND a convertible living in CA! Now I just hope I end up using all those things all the time.

Wow! That's impressive value retention.
The Toyota TRD pros are awesome vehicles and they are not a mass produced vehicle. Just do a used car search for Toyota TRD Tacoma’s and 4runners it’s crazy some dealers ask for the retail price of a freshly used one a year or two old. And yes I really had to think about this for the last 2-3 months since I thought damn can I let her go for a Jeep. And can tell you it was the right decision for me. In your lifetime how many Jeep Gladiator copy cats have we seen and may see? Versus how many SUV’ are in the market and what is the trend besides the mass market of SUV’s and Crossovers. The GLADIATOR is truly a one of kind vehicle which is why I picked her up. Nothing lasts forever and the ICE Age days are coming to the heyday end. INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AGE that’s my name cause I am a motor head to the max and can’t stand to see it slowly disappear.

Congrats on the purchase.
I will be trading in my very nice 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road with KDSS suspension. I agree with you that the Gladiator kills the 4Runner on technology and convenience.

Thank you and for me thinking about all the possibilities of the after market options to truly make your Gladiator personal and just bad ass looking is over the top. And yeah I know I could have personalized my 4RUNNER more but how many are those are already around.? Yeah like many more than you will see a Gladiator and come on the Gladiator with a lift, tires, bumpers, lights, winch, soft top, bed options.....etc will be such a limited looking vehicle. I mean wow what guys and gals here haven’t fantasized about a Jeep Truck I mean damn this has been so long coming, And for me it was 15 years ago I had kinda a unique truck called the Hummer H2 which they were fun but big and bulky. Not a realistic back roads adventure truck, Yeah open desert lol but just s little too big in the waist line lol. And here’s some pictures from 2004 I had both the SUV. Fire Engine Red and Black SUT. They both had the Joe Gibbs Super Chargers in them which were just the Magnuson Super Charger. Hers one can’t find the other one oh well another day lol.

Haha! So funny! I had a Hummer H3T that I should have kept that truly was a conversation piece and a head turner as GM only built around 2400 of these (if my memory serves me correctly) before GM and Obama got in bed together and decided to nix the Hummer Brand.
