Here are some pictures of my Expedition One dual swing rear bumper with tire carrier. The fit and finish on this bumper is excellent. The sides are supported by 2 3/16 support brackets that are beefier than the Rubicon oem brackets. Tag lights are LED's that I wired into the existing harness.

It was shipped wrapped in plastic, foam and cardboard on a pallet along with all the parts.

I got 2 spindle caps that I can use when I don't want the dual swing arms.

The first pictures show the bumper with the spindle caps installed.

The latch on the swing arms is by far the strongest, most robust, most secure, and solid latch I have seen on a rear bumper tire carrier. It locks up tighter than old dick's hat band. And holds the 37" tire securely. The swing arms have lock pins to hold them in the open position.

There is a backup camera relocation bracket that moves the camera from the tailgate to just above the tag and is protected by the bumper.

I’d be afraid of mud and funk getting into that latching system. Think it’ll be an issue?

Thanks LaterGator for the pics and info. I ordered the same setup for my Gladiator on March 18th. What date did you order and what date did you receive yours. I was told to expect an 8-10 week window and am now sitting at 12 weeks. Was it a one man job to install and how long did it take? Also, were there any sockets out of the normal range (i.e. - special tools). And one last thing, from my understanding, the lights are not included with the bumper. Can you tell us what lights you bought and why and also the wiring process for them?

Thank you in advance for your answers, I have been following your posts waiting for yours to get in.

Thanks,
Tom

I ordered on Black Friday. Expected a early April delivery. It arrived late April but the latches were backordered and showed up mid-May. It wasn't a problem because i got the blank spindle caps and installed those while I waited on the latches to show up.

Installation of the bumper itself took a a couple of hours. Remove oem bumper and brackets and install the bumper. The bumper is big, bulky and heavy for one person. I had a helper and it went on easy. No special tools required. You do need a 1 7/16" socket for the spindle nut.

Installation of the swing arms took a couple of hours. Not difficult and I wasn't in a rush. There is now a camera relocation bracket, but i haven't installed it yet.

I installed Rigid D-series pro lights. I reconfigured the provided harness for a better fit and removed the switch and wired it up to the aux 3 switch. My Baja Designs squadron lights wouldn't fit as they were set too far back in the bumper.

Thank you for the info LaterGator! I want to have all my ducks in a row when this thing gets in. Good heads-up on that socket, my range ends at 1 1/4". Looks like I might be waiting longer than expected given your order/delivery dates. I might pick your brain again if I run into any snags.

Thanks again!
Tom

no movement at all. In the pics, you can see that the arm is pulled tight against 4 delrin pads, two below and two in front. It's also adjustable and the large latch doesn;t rattle or allow any movement of the tire carrier.

Looks fantastic. Super beefy for sure. How far does the spare extend beyond the tailgate? Cost, arm and leg or more?

5" + width of tire. You can see in the pics that the carrier arm doesn't extend beyond the bumper,

As far as cost, well I can't take it with me. Expedition one had good deals on black friday which is when I bought it last year.

I got mine on in July. Sorry just posting pics, two major hurricanes destroyed my town this August and September and just now catching up. I am very impressed with the quality of this bumper especially the latching system that looks like a defense contractor engineered it! I am posting many pics from many angles. When I was making my decision to buy back in March my biggest beef was that there were only very limited pictures on a very expensive bumper, I was glad that someone posted pics and video of it from last year's SEMA show. anyway..... EYECANDY!!!

This looks like a phenomenal setup. Thank you for posting this. Might go this route.
