Well, I was shopping around, looking to replace my Edge Sport, and for something to winter drive because I don't want my Mustang to get destroyed, lol

I dont fit in Tacomas, Santa Cruz are too small, No full size trucks. My buddy got a Wrangler Rubicon 6 spd, and sold me on a Jeep, lol

Still Driving USA built, which is something I try to do. Jeep offering a 6spd manual really sold me, that and the headroom!

Ok, this is quick and dirty. I still have to do all my layout for the "build" in the first post. So bear with me.

Started with this, just to get rollin

Jeep Gladiator Duecius Maximus, a build... 20221109_161304

Then went Bulletpoint, like most people do, lol.

Then finally found a spot for the EZ pass

Sorry for the angle, but its tight on the passenger side of the rearview, completely out my line of sight, and off the windshield.

Saw this yellow for the first time in a dealer showroom on a 2dr Rubicon. Not usually fan of yellow vehicles, but being basically hi-vis, really looks sharp!

I too love my bulletpoint mount! I opted for the twin ball left side mount, and very happy with it.

As for the antenna, I have a bit of a story about why I will never run a shorty. To start, my last vehicle was a leveled F150, with the antenna being just above the roof line. That antenna was a good indicator of parking garage ceiling heights. If i entered and the antenna hit the cross bar, that garage was a no go for me! I should have kept that in mind when i Turo'ed a jeep in Maui. I cleaned the roof top tent right off that thing after forgetting it was there, then entering a parking garage. The antenna wouldnt have saved me in that instance, but i know a lot of guys here run racks and could learn from my mistake.

Yeah, like a curb feeler!

I will keep this in mind for sure, something to give me a visual on heights.

I really dont like that OEM antenna though, lmao

Used a 20mm dual ball arm, shorty, to use a cell phone mount opening facing up, for my Uniden R7 detector.

Im torn on whether I want to hardwire it or not. I normally do, but in this case there isnt a great wire route unless I add some kind of pathway external to the dash. IDK.

It's going to live like this for awhile.

Installed this bad boy. I really like it's versatility, and ease of use.

Fit and finish, not amazed per say. I had to knock out big flakes of aluminum in all holes. A couple light scratches, aluminum flakes all up in it.

Overall, time will tell. I like it, dont love it. Install was very easy.

I need to drill out for the drains. Probably do that at work tomorrow.

Went with the big boy seat jacker fronts. I'm 6'4", and These bought me the leg support I want, but didnt really solve any head clearance in regards to the center roll bar structure. I'm going to get some miles on them, and see if I love or hate them.

I did both front seats, the wife is 6'2" and all legs, so she will appreciate this mod as much as I do, lol

Installed the Borla S-type Climber exhaust. Super easy install. Its nice not working on a lowered car for once, lmfao! I just crawled under it and went to work. No jack needed.

Sounds pretty good. Not very loud. Idle is quiet. Just enough sound for clutch work, finally!! That was a huge gripe of mine. Lack of clutch feel, and zero engine noise until like 1750 rpms, lol

Tomorrows commute will get me more data to compare.

Borla has a good sound, and is pretty quiet, just enough though.

After much research, I want more engine sounds. Didn't want to have an open box design. Wanted plastic piping for heat management, no sound chambers. Something that wont chug water offroad, lol

I settled on

Once I get my hands on it, I will measure out and run a prefilter. Lots of hate for K&N due to less filtration, personally, It's not a huge concern if I get a nice prefilter on it for dust
