Hi all.
I bought EAG tube doors from Amazon. They seemed to go together ok but the rear limit strap has me puzzled.
Where does it attach? There are no holes in the door. There is no bracket attached to the strap.

Snap a picture of what you’re referencing and the inside of the door.

i have a set of knock off mopar doors that i has to just loop the limiter strap around the round tubing.

i also have a set if eag doors. I can compare what yours look like as reference so you know if something’s missing

if that doesn’t work mybe get some self taping screws and permanently attach the strap to the door

There is nothing to attach the loops. O
Both of my rear doors have a piece welded to them for the strap to connect.

so you can either contact the manufacturer and report the defect. Or you could drill through and just create your own connection point for the limiter strap based on the measurements I have pictured.

The top of the limiter strap bracket is 7 3/4 inches from where the round to meet the frame at the bottom of the door.

The bottom of the limiter strap bracket is 5 1/4 inches from where the round tube meets the frame at the bottom of the door

Just think through the self taping screws. If you go from the inside youll have some road warrior esk doors with protruding spikes on the outside

if you go from the outside in, they wont hold the strap at all without a nut.

maybe mark and drill holes feom the outside in, that way any burrs aren’t visible outside the jeep. Then use a bolt / washer / nut to hold them on. You could even go as far as getting black textured spray paint and spraying the bolt heads once they’re in. Or even a matte mail polish. Years ago i prayed matte spray paint into a solo cup the used a brush to paint some weights on steel rims. Worked very well…that may work for you as well.
