Earthquake 5.1 magnitude Sparta, NC

About 8:07 this morning it sounded like my son and twelve of his friends jumping around and rough housing upstairs. Turns out there was a moderate level Earthquake in Sparta, NC that has been felt well over 200km away. Anyone else feel that this morning?

I live in Brier Creek, off Arnold Palmer Dr, if you know where that is. My fiance lives in Crossroads though so I spend a lot of time there too.

I slept through it, but other people felt it in the house here in Four Oaks, NC.

I looked on a couple of the tracker sites and people as far away as Atlanta felt it. That is pretty darn amazing how far away it can be felt. I mean it is understandable but just shows you how violent an earthquake can be.

Yeah I'm familiar with both those locations. My SIL just moved to crossroads, I lived off Jones Franklin for a while when I moved here, and my last apartment was at Glenwood/Duraleigh. I bought my JT as Westgate
