I pulled off the front under-body air deflector with my new bumper install. It’s easy to see a reflection of the grille in the deflector. What’s more obscure is the stamping in the deflector support bracket.
Could the “X” stamping be a call out to the old Wrangler X logo? Could the four Xs refer to the “4x4” in the Trail Rated badge? - if so, where are the other 4 Xs? (or is it 12? I suck at math) Maybe its just the two Dos Equis I drank while posting...

Lol I think the beer is talking in this post. The X"s are there because it's a cheap and easy way to stiffen the front skid plate. For as thin as that is, it's surprisingly strong.
