I think it's just fine with 33's. Here was mine - stock 33's with AEV 2.5" dual sport. Keep in mind if you are heavy, and I was heavy at a little over GVW, with 35's you will most definitely want to re-gear to probably 4.88's or even 5.13's. Keeping the 33's you are 'ok' with stock 4.10s for the Rubicon. Re-gearing is expensive. I have a busted body and with the AEV 2.5" dual sport lift and stock 33's I was still able to get in good enough without needing step stool or power step.. I'm short as well.

Hey folks,

I've done put.... a lot of money into my jeep the past couple of months. While 35's are on my list of purchase I don't have the cash to blow on that for a couple of months at this point since everything I've bought is to put safety systems on (blind side monitoring for example which alone was $2500), and to get ready for offroading. The truck is a bit short for me and kinda uncomfortable to get into at this low height and I wanted to add the 2" spacers and just ride on the stock tires for a bit. Was wondering if anyone had some pictures of theirs with this temp setup so I can see how goofy it would look and whether I should just wait to do it all at once.

Thanks!
Remember youā€™re going to get lift putting 35ā€™s onā€¦Iā€™m running that way with a 11/2ā€ spacer up front for the steel bumper and the winch weight. My right butt cheek is now a perfect fit over the seat bolster When I get in!

That would be close to about the height of my old F150 tremor which was perfect. Basically what I"m after.

Nice setup! Regearing is in my future already I can tell. I'll likely end up trying it myself though, and use my brother (an actual real mechanic) to bail me out when I fail at it. What would be the deciding point between 4.88's or 5.13?

Iā€™m 6ā€™3ā€ if that helpsā€¦
I'm a little shorter at 6'1" but I like to step up some. I have some steps already installed for my kids so that'll help.
