Gladiator Launch Edition
Looks like Europe is getting the diesel overland and sport models and from the pics in this article it looks like Mojave Hood?????

Anyone got better info?

https://www.carscoops.com/2021/01/j...-on-sale-in-europe-with-260-hp-3-0-v6-diesel/

Jeep has opened the order books for the Gladiator across Europe, where it will arrive in dealerships in early 2021.

European customers will be offered a single engine option, a 3.0-liter Multijet V6 diesel producing 260 HP (264 PS) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque and paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. However, non-European markets and the Middle East will, in addition to the diesel, get the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 petrol option too.

The range of the Euro-spec Gladiator includes the Sport and Overland trim levels, as well as a limited Launch Edition that’s available only during the launch phase. Jeep’s pickup truck will be available in nine exterior colors in combination with a soft top, or either a black or body-colored hardtop.

Jeep will also offer more than 200 official Mopar accessories from launch, enabling customers to spec their new Gladiator to their exact taste. The accessories range includes bed covers and coverings, a railed roof rack, different load-carrying systems, tubular side steps, rock rails, alloy wheels, and more.

All Gladiator models in Europe will come equipped with the full-time Selec-Trac 4×4 system, which features a two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio and Dana 44 front and rear axles with a 3.73:1 rear-axle ratio.

According to Jeep, the entry-level Sport trim of the Gladiator offers improved functionality and content for off-road customization, while the Overland has a wide range of features as standard to offer the best in terms of both comfort and technology.

The limited-run Launch Edition is reserved for the first European customers and is packed with features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, a body-colored hardtop and fender flares, a spray-in bed liner, Cargo Management Group, and tonneau cover. In addition, the interior of the Gladiator Launch Edition features black leather seats, the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a forward-facing camera, and an Alpine Premium Audio system with a portable wireless speaker.

Yup. It’s true. I got these pics from the inter webs last week.

And so it begins....FCA is NOTORIOUS for taking special pieces of “special editions” a year after selling them, and making them available to all trim levels in the lineup. (Scoops, wide bodies, lights, wheels)

My best guess is that the hood and cowl are coming to other trims in the NA market in the next couple of years.

Thats, a nice brown. Why don't we get that nice brown? May have ordered that instead of the Sarge Green.

That bumper on the Rubicon looks like the swim deck behind a ski boat!

But the real bummer for us Euros:

NO RUBICON TRIM at launch 😪 and possibly won't be available at all in EU market.

That is such a hardcore letdown, been waitin for over two friggen years 😬

You can import a North American market rubicon. Could maybe be less expensive then a euro model. Take a Canadian one. It is already in km/h.

Thought about that option, but Heard- that there might be warranty Issues with imports, so I‘m uncertain as to what to do....

Until you need it. I bought in July 2019. I've already had the drive shaft and steering box replaced.
I have a launch edition and have nothing replaced so far. but yeah when something breaks its def useful.
