All of my friends that have a Jeep are Wrangler owners and none of my friend that have trucks have a covered bed. My Gladiator is the first truck I've had that has a lockable tail gate and I'd love to increase my storage by adding a tonneau cover. However, I'd like to have the best of both worlds and keep my truck box too.
I'd like to shorten a tonneau cover so the covered portion of my box runs from the edge of the truck box. I've looked at the soft roll up version and the directions aren't clear enough to see if I can shorten the end that would connect to front of the box.
Can anyone with the soft roll cover give some idea if the front could be trimmed back and still install against the box?
