If anyone is interested in the export side mirrors with built in turn signals, that parts are:

68281899AE Left Side, Heated, Convex no Blind Spot Monitoring, Black Textured
68281988AE Right Side, Heated, Convex no Blind Spot Monitoring, Black Textured
______________________________________________________
68281902AE Right Side
68281903AE Left Side

These part numbers above include the following options:
-blind spot (XAN)
-black texture (LE4)
-heated (GTB)
-turn signal (LES)

I tried my local dealer for the non BSM version and they were $187.00!!! I found them at a few online Mopar parts dealers for $120.00-127.00each, ordered from:

https://parts.chryslerjeepdodgecityofmckinney.com

Here is the link from JL Wrangler Forums that started me down this rabbit hole, covers the install. Optionally you can purchase just the exterior mirror housing cover with cutout and add the light.

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/added-mirror-turn-signals.22547/

I have not installed them, my truck is waiting for the D1 code "to be built schedule", just collecting parts and info to make it more mine.

I will say that my Land Cruiser had the "rest of the world" 70 series mirrors which had the same convex lens, those were fantastic and should be standard here.

I just ordered and received the painted white mirror caps with the opening for the LED light. Waiting for that same eBay seller to get these LEDs back in stock to order. Planning on tapping these into the turn signals as well. Having a friend who works at FCA/whatever they’re called now locate me the door harness so I can simply run wires from body side of harness to signals for a cleaner install.

Question, how do you get the mirror caps off?

To remove the caps: You need to "pop" the mirror out, takes some force but they will pop out. Once out, you only need to unlock the clips, no screws need to be removed. Having multiple small flat head screw drivers helps keep unlocked tabs from relocking as you go around.

Yeah the correct wiring would be a benefit to ever removing the doors without heartache.

I bring it up because I wanted to add ditch lights to my JK and could never devise a way to add the wiring without adding more connectors etc and then they have to be the weather packs and then and then... and then still be able to easily remove my doors.

That's great but I need the mirrors to be a tad larger &/or extendable.

I'm in the process of getting the parts for this mod.

For the connector, I am planning on adding pins and terminals to the door connector using some of the unused positions (68316927aa and 68316928aa are the parts that I bought). I am using the following site to determine the pin assignments and terminal/pin part numbers
http://connectors.dcctools.com/

Then just look at connectors xy600a and xy650a ... you will notice that there are two links for each connector (one is the body side and one is the door side)

Now I just need to get the mirrors ... I've had 2 suppliers back out after about a week

Fuckers :CWL: I have an old Airstream camper, and I can't see around the darned thing w/ the small Jeepy mirrors. Does not need to be 'Dumbo' sized but the tow package should get you mirrors you can see around what you're towing. You know, for safety. For the children. Or whatever -
