The one thing I really feel the gladiator needs is extendable towing mirrors. Have had mine for 6 months and have keep an eye out regularly to see if any after market ones come out, so far nothing. I know they have the clip on or the ones with straps to add to the stock mirror but I’m looking for a mirror like the 1500s or 2500s trucks have. Such as the one pictured. Any one playing with this idea? Next step is to by a set and see if I can make a mount for them to mount up to the factory bolt holes. Any thought or help appreciated!

So far I haven't found anything, kind of shocked that the aftermarket hasn't come up with anything yet.

I'm surprised they label a Gladiator "Max Tow" and have down right dangerous mirrors on it. This is the only disappointment I have (besides not coming with a 6" lift) Come on Jeep, give us something for towing mirrors!

And this is what scares me. Looking to get a camper in the next few months. Mirrors work better than expected on my 16ft flat bed trailer, but I have a feeling will be useless on anything wide or enclosed.

I get they wanted to keep the Jeep look, but they need at least another inch or two of width to be normal mirrors that could somewhat work, let alone towing capable mirrors.

The mirrors BLOW and I have consistently panned them in my video reviews on YouTube. Jeep should be ashamed for "cheaping out" on that. I realize they were trying to reuse everything they could from JL to save money, but they could have at least revised the mirrors. I can't even get enough adjustment out of them to see the left lane without a trailer, much less with one.

I'm also actively keeping an eye out. I'll post here if I find anything. You fellas do the same and maybe we'll get something that works soon.

Speaking of mirrors, i dislike the wide angle (convex) mirrors on the passenger side of any vehicle, would rather have a standard mirror with the a smaller stick-on convex mirror.

Ok unfortunate to hear no one has a cane up with a decent solution. So I guess next step will be to buy a set of the extendable mirror and see if I can make a mount for them to mount up to the stock location without drilling others holes in the door. Something like the landcruiser pictured in my first post I feel would be very functional and not look to off!

I have been looking for a good set of tow mirrors since I got my truck in June.
I pull a travel trailer often,(I have 19k miles on the gladiator already! and so far the best option I have found are the suction cup tow mirrors.
I had a ram prior to the gladiator and it had the flip out tow mirrors that worked awesome.
Im shocked that nobody has come out with anything aftermarket yet.
I will keep looking, or build my own.

I have been using these but they are far from perfect.

I am thinking of 2 options:
  1. Tap out the bottom of the door mirrors and install some type of quick connect rail (t-slot or something like it) that an auxiliary tow mirror can mount to.
  2. Create a adjustable secondary mirror that mounts off of the hood / window frame area for use while towing and when doors are off.

Yeah, we could use clip-on mirrors, suction cup mirrors, strap-on mirrors, etc. But to quote another forum member from a discussion on trailer brake controllers last year, "that's so 90s". It's the principle. We shouldn't have to do that on trucks that cost this much and are advertised for towing.

I'm going to hold out for a Mopar or aftermarket full replacement mirror that allows proper range of adjustment and field of view.

I don't even tow with the Gladiator, and i agree with this statement. I miss my big f250 mirrors
