question for all the jeep genius guys on here
so i have a possible purchase of some paint matched flares from a sport.....so my question is are paint matched fender flares from a sport the same clearance from a rubi?
and are they two piece ?

Sport is lower clearance fender even paint matched.

The sport s and the rubicon both seem to be the standard 2 pieces where the ligh and black plastic are under the painted portion so you can drill out the rivets and pull the light off the fender for a chop.

The high altitude (and the sahara from the JL) have a different type of painted fender where you can chop the liner, but the light is built in to the painted portion much like it is in the black plastic fenders.

Rubi is high line. I'm pretty certain that only Rubicon and Max Tow have the 2 piece

I believe all of the flares are two piece you just need a different light assembly/bracket if you decide to split it for the sport or non-Rubicon fenders.

They are not. 1pc fenders are on the Sport variants with black fenders except Max Tow. All others are 2pc.
