Yes, I've been in contact with the seller, and it seems like everyone sources their modules from the same factory in China. The only difference is that they install the Jeep "plug n play" connector to the regular wiring.
They recently released a "hybrid" version, but most sellers are just resellers. The seller I've been talking to reached out to the factory, and they simply replied, "hybrid version for that "car" which isn't very clear. They asked for a photo of the center console. It seems that the gas Jeep has "AUTO" on the two upper buttons, the JK has it too but with different buttons, and the 4XE has the same JL buttons but without any "AUTO" mark.

I've placed an order on Amazon https://amzn.to/3VwU43h
I'll update you as soon as I install it. Fingers crossed that everything works perfectly.

Not sure what you mean by they install the plug and play connector to the regular wiring.
Which regular wiring, and they should all have a connector to plug into the switch array.

They should all simply be - unplug factory harness from switches, connect new module connector to switches, and connect other connector to the factory harness - done (unless you want the fancy fob operation.

There's no difference in the 4xe wiring vs. the gas JT/JL wiring other than switch appearance, maybe.

This is the 4xe - (OUR 4xe). The switches are exactly like a standard JLU or Gladiator ->

More drum roll, please................... this is my 2022 Gladiator. Hmm, still the same as the 2023 JLU 4xe ->

So, where's the difference?

As we can see, the switches are identical between a 2023 JLU Rubicon 4xe, a 2020 Gladiator 3.6 and a 2022 Gladiator 3.6

They make no sense at all when they try to differentiate.
I even bought a spare set of switches on eBay out of a gas Wrangler (JLU) to experiment with changing the switch levers for my wife - identical to the 4xe and the JTs with one exception - the older JLU switches are marked automatic. Otherwise, they are identical.
The seller said he pulled the switches from a trashed JLU. Can't recall the year, but here they are - so I would maybe speculate that the difference is in the years - that they stopped putting automatic on the top switches??

I just bought one 10 days ago and got it yesterday, from a company called Ion Garage. Still have not installed it, but will report back later.

https://iongarage.us/jeep-window-module
WOW - that's double, almost triple the price of the others!
Holy cow, I can buy 3 of the eBay units for their price. (and they'll all be the same thing)

I still can't see what the differences are between the ones they sell as 4xe vs. the other as I have the standard unit in a 4xe.
All I can figure is maybe the REMOTE or fob functions are different in the 4xe. But the connectors, etc. are all identical.

Anyone have the 3wliners module and have it just stopped working on them? Mine worked fine for a year or so, but then last week it just stopped working. The windows themselves still work fine. I did have the doors off last week but I honestly can't remember if the auto function was working before I took them off or not. Blind spot and normal window function is all fine, so I don't think it's the door connectors. How do I start troubleshooting an electronic box, apart from checking the one splice you have to make down at the driver's door?

Thanks,
Darel

Check to see if your window lock button is switched ... don't ask me how I know

Nope, that wasn't it.
Sorry ... was hoping that it was an easy fix ... only other thoughts are
1) the fuse for the circuit that you tapped for power
2) the driverside harness taps near the door (only because of your recent removal of the doors)

Good luck ... hope it's not the box

Check the fuse that goes on the positive cable to the module

I picked one of these up I guess over a year ago. It kind of worked and then it didn't work at all. The "Kind of" worked was a bit fussy about just how I double clicked the window switch. It's still installed and still doesn't work. I guess I wanted auto up and down on all 4 bad enough to pay the $100 but not bad enough to figure out why it's not working.... lol.

Figured mine out, the big plug had just worked its way out of the socket on the module a little bit. Kinda surprised the windows worked like normal but whatever. All good now. Btw still couldn't find a fuse.

I picked up a 3W one about 2 years ago. Once installed all functions worked except i could not roll up my passenger rear window using the main/front window controls. I can manually roll up the rear passenger window using the rear window controls. All windows down/up using the fob works flawlessly. I've reviewed my wiring and found that everything is wired correctly. I reached out to 3W and they sent me another complete kit. I removed the previous one and installed the new one and the window came back up manually the first time. After that though, the window no longer went back up using the main window controls. I've scoured through these forums to check if anyone has had the same issue and have not come across one post. I've dealt with it for the past two years as i enjoy the auto up/down and being able to crack all windows with the fob. Has anyone heard of this specific issue?
