Anyone have any idea why air filters are not available anywhere? Can't find them locally, bought one from Quadratec, and now I see they are back-ordered (don't get me started on why I had to wait to pay for it to find that out). Really don't feel like shelling out the $94 at the dealer (don't get me started there either). Might just spring for a K&N and call it good.

What's shipping, though? I've been killed by RA shipping BS before. I ended up finding things cheaper locally after factoring in shipping costs from them. They inflate the actual costs. Sometimes it's really hard to beat them, other times, do some comparison shopping.

17 bucks Amazon free shipping.

Amazon is your friend.
I bought all of the suspension and steering parts for my 73 Javelin from Amazon when I did a total front end rebuild a couple of years ago. It was all cheaper than any place else, including RockAuto. I got everything from inner and outer tie rod ends, upper and lower control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and links, ball joints, you name it. Free shipping.

My friend was shopping for a Dana 44 front axle. Most places showing out of stock and shipping costs, long leads times. I found it on amazon cheaper and on Prime, lol.
